STICKY GLUTEN FREE TERIYAKI SALMON

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 (25 cm) piece salmon

FOR THE SAUCE:

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 3/4 cup gluten free soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup mirin
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch

Cooking steps

Step 1

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) line a baking dish with parchment. Place salmon on top. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl. Pour half the mixture over the fish. Allow to sit for 4-5 min (not more). Spoon sauce the drizzle down back on top of the fish and@place in the oven. Cook for 15 min. Remove from oven, pour over remaining sauce. Cook another 12-15 minutes, basting every 3/4 minutes. Remove. Baste again. That’s it! Serve hot and enjoy.
