Potato chip marshmallow treats
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 Tbsp avocado oil
- 2 (450 grams) bags marshmallows
- 1&1/2 large bag potato chips (300 grams total, about 9 cups)
- 1 bar dark chocolate l, melted
Cooking steps
Step 1
Add oil to a large set over low heat. Swirl around. Add marshmallows. Stir continuously until melted and gooey. Can take around 10-12 minutes. Be patient. Don’t stop stirring. Once melted add in potato chips (I like to add it in batches so it’s easier to stir). You can also feel feee to add in anything else you want. think almonds, peanuts, coconut… prepare two baking sheets with parchment paper. Lightly oil your hands and remove about 2 tbsp at a time and form clusters. Allow to cool for a few minutes and then drizzle with melted chocolate if desired.
Step 2
To melt chocolate: break up bar into squares. Add to ziplock bag. Pour boiling water into a bowl and place bag (sealed) into the bowl. Allot to sit for 10 min. Snip the corner off the bag and boom, piping bag!
Step 3
These are best eaten right away or straight out of the freezer!
