GARLIC KNOTS WITH THE SUPER AWESOMEhttps://www.instagram.com/artisansourdough_byshainacohen/

INGREDIENTS:

  • 960g (2 lbs) dough
  • 2 heads garlic, peeled + minced
  • 1 cup parsley, chopped
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup + 1 Tbsp olive oil, divided

Cooking steps

Step 1

We made them with Shaina’s ridiculously delicious sourdough dough, but you can use store bought dough or pizza dough!!! Preheat oven to 200°c (400°F). Place 1 Tbsp olive on the bottom of a baking dish along with 2 cloves of the minced garlic. Set aside.

Step 2

Roll out dough. Cut into 1 inch strands, then cut in half. Twist each strand in a knot. Place the knots in the baking dish. Squish them in! Once all the garlic knots are on the baking dish cover and let rise for 30 minutes.

Step 3

After they rise, place in the oven and bake for 20-25 min. While they are baking make garlic mixture. Combine garlic, parsley, salt and oil in a bowl. When garlic knots come out of the oven immediately brush them with garlic mixture. Allow to coon for a few minutes and dig in!
