WONTON TAKIS
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 package Wonton wrappers
- Oil for frying
- 2 tsp granulated onion
- 1 tsp granulated garlic
- 3 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp citric acid
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp msg (optional)
Cooking steps
Step 1
In a medium bowl combine spices. Set aside.
Step 2
Place oil in a pot over medium high heat.
Step 3
While oil is heating up roll your wonton wrappers. Place a square in front of you with one of the corners facing you so the it looks like a diamond. Begin to roll up the corner until you reach the opposite corner. Place a bit of water on the opposite to seal tightly. You should have created a rolled up stick of sorts.
Step 4
Once the oil is hot add in a few sticks at a time. Fry for 1-2 minutes till lightly golden.
Step 5
Remove from oil with a slotted spoon, shake out any excess oil and place into the spics mixture. Shake to coat. Remove and place on a cooling rack to cool completely!
