CHEESY PIZZA DIP w/ Shaina cohen
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 Tbsp olive oil, divided
- 24.7oz crushed (Tuscanini cuz it’s my fave)
- 2 Tbsp dry white wine
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2-1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 3 Tbsp heavy cream
- 1 large ball fresh mozzarella in water
Cooking steps
Step 1
Preheat oven to (180°c) 350°f. In a medium sized oven to table dish or ramekin and 1 Tbsp olive oil, crushed tomatoes, wine, salt and pepper flakes. Gently stir to combine. Drizzle heavy cream in but do not mix. Remove mozzarella from water and pat dry. Cut into thin slices. Gently layover the sauce. Do not press down. We want them to sort of float on top of drizzle remaining olive and place in the oven for for 40-45 min until sauce and cheese are bubbly and golden. Serve with a spoon for everyone to take and drip that cheesy saucy goodness all over any kind of bread you like!
