MISO LEMON STRING BEANS
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 (600g) bags frozen skinny string beans
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 5 cloves minced garlic
- Miso mixture:
- 1/4 c white miso paste
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 3 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tsp rice vinegar
Cooking steps
Step 1
In a bowl combine all the ingredients for the miso glaze. Set aside.
Step 2
Heat a large pot over medium high heat. Add oil and string beans. Stir and then leave the string beans alone for 4 minutes. Do not touch. Every 4 miutes give them a gentle stir. Do this for a total of 16 minutes. Some of the string beans will char and some will remain crisp. It’s an excellent combination. Turn off the heat and immediately pour miso mixture over the string beans. Gently toss. Eat and enjoy!
